Childcare (Nursery 6 mo-4 years old)
Children are the key to our future and the legacy we leave to them is of most importance. We have a great team of people serving children ages 6mo-4 years old during worship at Emmanuel. The goal of the nursery is to provide a loving, safe, healthy, stimulating and fun environment for these children, allowing their parents to learn and worship with the confidence that their child is being cared for well.
Seedling (PK-5th grade)
Kids need space to play and explore, and they need to know who they are and what this world involves. Here at Emmanuel we provide a culture where kids can come and explore what it means to be created in the image of God, and restored to that image in and through Jesus Christ. We desire for our young ones to be built into by the Word of God once every other week. There are also events throughout the year, including our VBS program, that runs throughout a whole week during the summer (see calendar for details).
J.A.M. (6th-8th grade)
You want a safe place to come hang out, have fun, play games, and be with your friends? Then come to J.A.M! A place where you develop deep friendships, and learn about the love of Jesus for you and for the world. There are meetings every other week at Emmanuel, and big blowouts every month (see calendar for details).
Overflow (9th-12th grade)
Do you want to know what it means to follow Jesus, and demonstrate His love to the rest of the world? This is it. Come and be a part of Overflow, where high school students get together. Key word: TOGETHER. We study the bible, go on retreats, serve, pray, play games, laugh, eat, and hang out together. All Together. There are meetings every other week at Emmanuel, and events every month (see calendar for details).
Be sure to start picking up an Engage Worship Notes clipboard for each of your children at the back of the sanctuary before the service each Sunday. The Worship Notes packets are intended to help children stay engaged throughout every aspect of worship on Sunday mornings, from the songs to the sermon. They include note-taking pages and activities to keep kids involved throughout the service, as well as providing family discussion questions for follow-up and a weekly memory verse your family can focus on throughout the week.
Yellow packets are recommended for children aged 5-7 and green packets for children aged 8+. At the end of the service, please keep the Worship Notes packet, and return the clipboard and baggie containing markers, crayons, and pencils to the bins at the back of the sanctuary.
We have started small groups for our youth! Our vision is that youth grow in their relationship with the Lord within a community of their peers and a community led by an adult who has an authentic relationship with the Lord. We will coordinate a group for your child to get connected. Groups will be age and gender appropriate.
