“Emmanuel” means “God with us.” We think it’s a great way to describe what’s happening at our church — people are finding God and experiencing life in a new way ! We would love for you to experience it with us !
At Emmanuel, you’ll find people who are authentic and loving and who care deeply for each other. You’ll find worship of God that is fresh, relevant and unpretentious. You’ll find small groups and opportunities to serve. You’ll find a community of people – children, young people, adults, singles, couples and families – growing deeper in spiritual life.
Worship at Emmanuel is a time of expectations – expecting to encounter God and the truths of the Bible. At Emmanuel, you should also expect a warm, casual atmosphere where you are greeted with a smile. You will see folks in a variety of dress, from dresses and coats-and-ties to jeans and shorts. You should expect to experience a variety of styles of music, led either by a praise team or by individuals, and the use of other expressive arts such as drama or video clips. The preaching is expository and helps make Emmanuel a place where committed followers of Jesus can expect to be challenged to grow and where newcomers can find answers to their questions. Worship at Emmanuel is authentic and personal – sometimes fun, sometimes challenging, always sweet. But it doesn’t end with an hour on Sunday ; it continues as a lifestyle as we follow Christ into each new week.
Our schedule is as follows :
Worship — 10:15 am
Small groups (which we call “Sticky Groups”) meet throughout the week in homes at various times.
